Experiencing the Power of Prayer

Our temptation is to live in human strength but our greatest power is the power of prayer. Yet this great power is not acquired through our many words, our loud volume, or eloquent language, it comes through a strange sounding place. Answered prayer is found in a connection to our weakness. It is in our weakness that we connect to His answers.

We all were created TO need. We were created WITH need. And the great gaping need within us is a deep need FOR God. He built within us a void that He alone can fill. God deliberately puts us in places to overwhelm in order to strip from us our sense of self-sufficiency. What stands between us and our need’s fulfillment is just our willingness to receive. Receiving is the simplest thing we can do as Christians.
