Living in a Shaking World

Being bewildered is one of the most unsettling feelings. And many of us have been in bewilderment for much of this year. With riots, protests, COVID, economic and political uncertainty, many have been face to face with a huge sense of bewilderment. But the Lord says that we can live safe within His arms despite being IN and experiencing bewilderment. 

Gracious uncertainty is the mark of the spiritual life. To be certain of God is to be uncertain in all our ways not knowing what tomorrow may bring. This is the faith walk and required to please God. In this we experience the greatness of God and the joy of full surrender, an enviable place indeed. 

How do we survive, Living in a Shaking World?

The tribulation coming upon this earth is an immutable fact, it’s going to happen, the Bible promises it. Talk about a time of bewilderment! But the Bible states that not everyone of us will have to endure this time and go through this testing. There will be those who will escape the greatest time of testing. The question is how can I escape this end time trial? 

In this month’s message Martha shows the answer from the scriptures. She invites us to live in the wonder of who Jesus is, so that we would know Him, that we would find Him, and be found of Him. While the goal of life can never be to escape pain and suffering, when we come in line with our Lord, we just might be spared, but more, we will enter deeper union and fellowship with Him.
