Hearing Christ, The Living Seed

The word of God is alive and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and of spirit, joints and of marrow, laying bare the thoughts and intents of the heart. All things lay open and exposed before Him with whom we have to do. 

Everything in the universe began with a seed—including you. His words are this living seed, teaming with life for us. God’s Word is a seed not a mere thought and that seed is filled with life. Yes, every word we receive from the Lord is a living revelation, not a system, technique, philosophy, or even belief. His messages to us are alive.  

Hearing Christ, The Living Seed through a Heart Connection

The supreme significance of the whole Word of God is Christ. Christ is the living WORD. The words of the Bible are alive when God speaks them to us because they are connected to His heart. And when the word of God’s heart connects with our heart we have spiritual listening. This is the deep purpose for us, to hear Christ in His Living seed.

Our connection and relationship with Christ is built and predicated on listening and obeying His word. In this months message Martha reveals that the whole Word of God is Christ and the significance of how we connect to Him through hearing His voice in it.
