From Chariot of Fire:
"Many follow God who do not die. Many serve Him who will not perish. Jezebel and Ahab are consummate pictures of self-preservation; survivors using illegitimate means to play god to their world. Ahab complying to keep Jezebel calm. Jezebel ruling to keep Ahab compliant.
"God does not call us to conquer Jezebel/Ahab with a fight. He calls us to DIE by daily surrender to Him and refusal of any other ruler, even the tyrant of 'self.' Only the Cross defeats God's enemy."
This dynamic and Spirit-filled exploration of the life and calling of Elijah prepares readers for the task of understanding and unmasking the Jezebel spirit and obtaining deliverance from the Jezebel spirit in themselves, as well as their home, family, and church.
Who does this book help?People facing:
- Marital Conflicts (the shocking truth behind a controlling, overbearing spouse)
- Sexual Addiction (the driving force and roots of sexual addiction)
- Codependent Relationships (emotional dependency that masks as love)
- Sexual Brokenness (a shaming, hopeless trap with deep spiritual roots and ties)
- Controlling Parents (obeying God to honor parents may not mean what you think)
- Church Leadership Conflicts (many leadership conflicts are really individual rebellion or conflicts with God)
Chariot of Fire offers keen discernment and diagnosis of the Jezebel Spirit, but more than that, it delves into the personal relationship between Elijah and God that is crucial to overcoming. The daily spiritual and practical equipping of Elijah ensured his victory over evil, a triumph that had to be personal before it could be national.

This book is packed with revelation and insight and paradigm shifting, that becomes comfort and confirmation to anyone who suspects they have been involved with the evil of the powers of a Jezebel spirit. What you learn in these pages helps heal and restore what was damaged, and redeem what was meant for evil and works it for the good. Does it get any better than that?

This book was great. It explained and gave many answers to me about things that have happened to me in my life and why. There were several times Martha used the exact same words that the Lord had spoken to me years ago about certain situation. It made the pieces of a puzzle come together for me. It is also very challenging to look at your own heart and realize we all have the capacity to be a Jezebel or Ahab.

This is one of those books that I didn't even know I wanted/needed to read until I started reading it. It was recommended by a friend - He get's hugs from me the next time I see him. It addresses so much more than you would imagine! Thank you Martha Kilpatrick for being obedient to our KING!
