The heart is the physical engine of the body; a human being can live without a functioning brain, but he cannot live without a functioning heart. The heart is no less important when it comes to our spiritual lives. The work to believe doesn’t take place in the mind. As Romans 10:10 so boldly states, we believe with our hearts. And what we believe shapes our lives – it can even alter the world around us. Is it any wonder then that the Bible is all about the heart?
