The true miracle of the Gospel is the exchange of my broken, sinful life for the life of Jesus Christ Himself. It is His life not mine that performs the responsibilities that He gives me and produces the fruit that He requires of me. Yet too often the wonder of a new creation powered by the indwelling life of Christ isn't understood or even taught in the church. So we see Christians trying with all their might to live a Christ-like life without the divinely provided means to do so.
